Join Appleton Cricket Club – Your Local, Friendly Cricket Community
Looking to play cricket in a relaxed, welcoming environment? Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a bat for the first time, Appleton Cricket Club has something for everyone! We offer a mix of midweek T20s and Sunday 40-over fixtures, perfect for players of all abilities—including youngsters eager to learn the game.
With over 100 years of history in Oxfordshire, ACC has called Appleton Sportsfield home since 1966. Last year, we hosted an international touring team and went on a club tour ourselves—a testament to our growing community spirit. Off the pitch, we love bringing people together with regular social evenings that are just as much fun as the matches.
Our cricket is all about playing with a smile—we play to win but always with the aim of enjoying every game and making sure both teams leave happy, whatever the result.
Come on down to the Appleton Cricket Ground, soak up the summer sunshine, grab a beer (or two), and watch some fantastic contests between bat and ball. We’d love to see you there!
